LCSP (Local Community Service Project)

Sharing our experiences with the local children back home.

After our memorable experience in Zambales, our team headed to Christalite Student Care Centre back home in Singapore to share more about our experience. Through our interactions and activities at the centre, we aimed to inspire the children to become compassionate individuals and active contributors to society. By sharing our experiences and empowering them with knowledge and skills, we hope to ignite a passion for social change and encourage them to make a positive impact in their own community.

Program:

  • sharing on solar light installations

  • sharing on teaching at Alao Elementary School

  • hands-on solar light installation workshop

  • bonding games

Sharing on Solar Light Installations:

One of the highlights of our program was sharing our knowledge and experiences on solar light installations. We shared the importance of sustainable energy and how solar power can positively impact communities, especially those without access to reliable electricity. Through engaging presentations and discussions, we aimed to raise awareness among the children about alternative energy sources and their potential to transform lives.

Sharing on Teaching at Alao Elementary School:

Our team also had the privilege of sharing our teaching experiences at Alao Elementary School in Zambales. We conveyed the challenges and rewards of working in a different educational setting, and we emphasized the importance of education in empowering individuals and communities. By sharing our stories, we aimed to inspire the children to appreciate the value of education and the opportunities it can provide.

Hands-on Solar Light Installation Workshop:

To provide a practical and immersive experience, we organized a hands-on solar light installation workshop for the students. Guided by our experienced volunteers, the children had the opportunity to assemble and install solar lights themselves. This interactive workshop not only exposed them to sustainable technology but also fostered teamwork, problem-solving skills, and a sense of accomplishment.

Bonding Games:

In addition to educational activities, we organized bonding games to break the ice and create a fun and inclusive environment for the children. These games encouraged teamwork, communication, and cooperation, while also providing an opportunity for our volunteers and the children to build meaningful connections.
