Project Luminaire holds a special place in my heart. It has opened my eyes to the simplicity of life itself. As a city girl, I often imagine life needs all the materials to fill it up, yet we never consider the true root of what it truly requires — a giving heart. We do not need new clothes every month, luxury meals every week, or 1-hour showers every day. Those are what we want and what we are blessed to have, with a large percentage of it owing to the land we are born in. But if we choose to spend that money on people in this world living in a geographically tougher place, would that not slowly start to balance our world's inequality?
