Lim Dao De Timothy

I volunteered with PL12 because I believe everyone deserves access to basic necessities, whether it is light, education, or food. My two weeks in Zambales far exceeded my expectations. We were warmly welcomed by the children of Alao Elementary School, where we connected with them through teaching and play. Seeing their eagerness to learn each day, despite our limited resources, was both humbling and inspiring. Beyond the classroom, we installed 15 street lights in nearby villages and 62 pipe lights for use in personal homes. These lights brought safety and visibility to many households. Knowing that our efforts created a lasting impact, however modest, has been deeply fulfilling.
