Adelia Ramli

I wanted to volunteer with PL12 because it seemed to be an OCSP that genuinely served from the heart, and provided a unique opportunity of both teaching and installing solar lights. Initially, I thought I would enjoy teaching more due to my prior work experience and the high energy of children, but installing solar lights was just as fun and I learnt a lot. The days we went down to the villages were fulfilling and eye opening. I realised the significance of the solar lights and the impact they have on these rural villages, especially when the children of the community stepped in to contribute help to us with excitement on their faces. As a marketing member, I also really enjoyed capturing memories of our team and the people we met throughout the trip. Editing the videos and pictures we took during and post trip made me further appreciate the great team we had in PL12, as well as our heart warming experience there.
