I was drawn to this OCSP by the unique opportunity it presented—not only to impart knowledge to children but also to brighten their lives and create a conducive environment for them to live and play. This is something I value deeply, as I believe that it is crucial for these kids to grow up in an environment that allows them to thrive, ensuring they will become successful young individuals in the future. The experience exceeded my expectations and was truly one of a kind.

One particular instance that stood out to me was playing with the kids during their break. While teaching them was challenging due to their short attention spans, the joy I felt seeing them have fun and enjoy themselves was immensely rewarding. They taught me to appreciate the simplicity of life, a lesson that resonated deeply amidst our often hectic lifestyles back home.

I believe our contributions provided the kids with new knowledge and joyful experiences, while also benefiting the greater community. By lighting up their environment, we enabled them to carry out activities at night, something they couldn’t do before. This has helped strengthen bonds within the community, fostering a sense of unity and shared purpose.

Volunteering in this community has taught me the importance of appreciating life and valuing what it has to offer. I was glad to be able to be part of this community for half a month. This experience allowed me to slow down, connect with others on a meaningful level, and gain a fresh perspective on life.
