Programme Executive

The opportunity to install solar lights in various communities drew me to PL11. It was a very fulfilling experience, being able to see our efforts come to life. My experience with Project Luminaire was incredibly rewarding. I particularly enjoyed the hands-on aspect of installing solar lights in the communities of Botolan. Additionally, engaging with the children during the school feeding programs and teaching sessions was fulfilling; their enthusiasm and eagerness to learn inspired me every day. At the same time, I believe my contributions had a meaningful impact on the community. By helping to install solar lights, we provided families with a reliable source of energy, which improved their quality of life and extended their productive hours. The school feeding programs not only addressed immediate nutritional needs but also encouraged regular school attendance. Teaching local students equipped them with essential skills and knowledge, fostering a sense of empowerment and hope for their future. On a personal level, volunteering with Project Luminaire profoundly impacted my personal development. It opened my eyes to the challenges faced by underserved communities and deepened my appreciation for the resources I often take for granted. I developed greater empathy and a stronger sense of social responsibility. Project Luminaire reinforced my commitment to community service.
