Culture Day

Our Project Luminaire 11 members were thrilled to bring a vibrant Culture Day to the children at Sitio Alao Elementary School. The event celebrated cultural diversity and creativity, enriching the students' understanding of various traditions. The children eagerly engaged in crafting activities like ketupat and playing games from Indian, Korean, Filipino, Chinese, and Malay cultures, such as ddakji and chapteh. These hands-on experiences sparked their creativity and appreciation for different traditions. The day concluded with our heartfelt rendition of "Home," followed by skits showcasing Singapore's rich history. These performances brought a piece of Singapore to the Philippines, captivating the young audience with stories of our nation's journey and heritage. Culture Day was a meaningful exchange of cultural values, inspiring both the children and our members. Through events like these, Project Luminaire 11 fosters cultural understanding and friendship, making a positive impact one enriching experience at a time.
