Executive Committee

The Executive Committee (EXCO) comprises of 6 members:

  1. Project Leaders (2)

  2. Programmes Director (2)

  3. Logistics Director

  4. Marketing Director

 

Together, they oversee the project and ensure the success of Project Luminaire. 

Key responsibilities of the EXCO include:

  • Inter-department Communication: Facilitate seamless and effective communication and collaboration among different departments

  • Volunteer Coordination: Recruit, onboard, train, and manage volunteers, providing them with the necessary guidance and support throughout their involvement.

  • Project Planning: Collaborate with other teams to develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and milestones, and ensure projects stay on track.

  • Budgeting and Financial Management: Create, manage, and monitor budgets for projects, while maintaining financial accountability and seeking cost-effective solutions.

  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges, develop contingency plans, and mitigate unforeseen issues that may arise during project implementation.

  • Administrative Support: Handle administrative tasks, including documentation, record-keeping, and correspondence, to ensure clear and organized project management.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a central point of contact between teams, volunteers, donors, and external partners, facilitating effective communication and alignment.

  • Evaluation and Improvement: Conduct post-project evaluations, gather feedback from volunteers and beneficiaries, and identify areas for enhancement in future initiatives.
